I rebranded the studio, devised a comprehensive communications plan and defined clear guidelines for the visuals and narratives for all content produced across every brand channel.

With a body of work including emblematic nineteenth-century belle époque palaces and early modernist buildings, the studio sets itself apart from the competition with its unique understanding of the Portuguese Riviera.
I capitalised on this distinctive feature to craft a strong sense of place into the visuals and narratives, while respecting a certain restraint proper to an architectural language.
Architecture requires enormous respect for balance. In the pursuit of such balance, I aimed to maximise the brand's expression by stripping away unnecessary fuss, and let the notions of space and line surface naturally.
The identity is intended to respond equally to the classic and modern styles found in the studio's portfolio, and to weather the test of time.
While architecture is often associated exclusively with visuals, I underlined the studio's unique positioning by delving into the region's legacy.
Stories of the region, artistic movements and days by the sea light up all brand communications.
A sense of space drives all visual expression.
I applied architectural notions such as proportion and rhythm extensively to all the imagery, and made use of a limited colour palette where a grey and beige scale contrasts mainly with shades of blue.
